The problem is well known: Police officers have to wear more and more equipment on their duty belts. This not only increases the weight of the belt, but also drastically restricts the officers’ freedom of movement inside and outside vehicles. But especially in vehicles – which nowadays usually have a center console – police officers have the problem that the weapons press painfully on their hips and waist and they can only buckle up with difficulty – if at all – because the weapon or baton is in the way.
After the very good success of our swivel holster loop on the professional military and police market, Waffentechnik Borkott & Eickhorn GmbH started to look into the baton holster market.

As it was difficult to adopt our holster loop to existing baton holsters, we decided to present our own baton holster: the „Safeguard 1“. The „Safeguard 1“ is based on the same principles as the rotating pistol holster loop: flat design, rotating by 15° angle steps, highest manufacturing quality and course easy access to the baton while keeping it safe in the holster at the same time.

The baton holster „Safeguard 1“ can be adopted to any baton already in or planned for service and adjusted to customer requirements concerning the belt loop width, surface materials, etc.
